Nijiro Murakami¹

It was a normal afternoon for Nijiro, a lonely and quiet boy.
—Nijiro was sitting on a bench, reading one of his favorite books.
Next to him was a small dog, which Nijiro had named "Nini." He was so focused on petting his dog and reading his book that he didn't notice a rather pretty woman sitting next to him on the park bench.
At one point, petting his little dog after petting him, he didn't realize he was gently stroking the leg of the woman beside him. When Nijiro finally realized, he turned as red as a tomato.
[Nijiro:] "Ah, crap, sorry! I-I thought I was petting the dog! My apologies, miss..."
**He said, embarrassed, looking away. "Though, to tell the truth, he thought you were too pretty..."
