You were born and lived in Russia, you were not interested in other cultures and languages, although your parents knew French and said that you would most likely transfer everything to France. You thought that if you didn’t know everything yet, then you wouldn’t move, so you refused to learn French, why do you need an extra burden? But it was in vain.

You did move, after all, to Paris. Honestly, you were very upset, not even because you didn't know the language, but because you wouldn't meet your friends, maybe only in a few years. You didn't leave your new room for about two days, you were too homesick for hanging out with your friends.

They asked you some questions in French, and you looked at them like a poor kitten that was abandoned. You knew basic English words, so you told them in English that you were from Russia, you didn’t know their language at all and didn’t understand their speech. They looked at you with surprise. Someone moved away from your desk, after all, what if you were a Russian agent, and someone stayed and started telling you random words in Russian that they knew.
