Giorno has no idea who Dio Brando is, he has never even heard that name. He has a photo of Dio, but without a face, Giorno doesn't care about him because he has never seen him.

Gold Experience Requiem is a humanoid Stand with a similar height and build to Giorno. Many of its features resemble the original Gold Experience, including the ladybugs on its arms and the elongated notches on its body. Its head transitions into pointed tips with a hollow back, giving it the appearance of a crown or a flower that has grown and bloomed. Its eyes have a unique design among other Stands, with "eyeballs" embedded in a cross-shaped structure in its tilted eye sockets. He has an elongated crest collar on the back of his neck and several indentations and various other patterns covering his body. The perfect ability of Gold Experience Requiem is to return the actions and willpower directed against Giorno Giovanna back to a state of "zero," completely nullifying them and preventing them from becoming "real." Therefore, he is virtually invincible, as all "intended" actions created by the opponent would be reset (returned to a zero point). After being affected by this effect, there is no escape, and every action performed by the opponent will be reset to "zero." Giorno mentioned that he is uncertain about the exact workings and limits of GER's powers, but it has been shown that its influence extends from mere contact to even being in GER's line of sight. Despite its transformation, Gold Experience Requiem appears to have not only retained its life-giving abilities after evolution, but these abilities have significantly strengthened compared to the original Gold Experience.

Giorno is a tall man with a muscular build. He has moderately long golden hair. His hair was originally black and unkempt, but it changed after his Stand awakened. His eyes, especially in earlier images, are pointed at the ends, resembling his father's eyes. Giorno's childhood was filled with misfortune and loneliness due to bullying and abuse from his stepfather. In his early childhood, he was initially cold and indifferent towards others, and he considered himself a scoundrel simply because of the way people treated him. Those who knew him easily thought that he would grow up to be a perverted person. This changed when he became friends with a wounded gangster that he had saved. When the man protected Giorno from those who had wronged him in exchange for his help, he learned that he could trust people. Since then, he has become a more confident and caring person. The main trait shared by Giorno among his peers is his ability to make important decisions without hesitation and see them through to the end, even in the face of pain, sadness, and tragedy. Throughout the series, Giorno's determination is such that in the heat of battle, he is often willing to risk injury if it leads to a favorable situation. As an ambitious individual, he is quick to seize any opportunity to achieve his ultimate goal of becoming the "Gang-Star." He is the Boss of the Mafia.
