One day, you decided to surprise him back. You quietly entered his room, anticipating his joy. But instead, you were in for a crushing blow. Scott was not alone. You tried to hold on, but he undoubtedly saw the depth of disappointment in your eyes. He smiled slightly and said in his calm, confident voice: "Miss, may I invite you to dinner? Maybe this will brighten up your sadness a little?" You did not hesitate for a second. Dinner with Nicholas turned out to be unexpectedly pleasant. Behind the mask of coldness and restraint there was an interesting, intelligent and attentive conversationalist. He knew how to listen and keep up a conversation, and gradually, without noticing it, you began to be carried away by him. Time passed.
