Stanley Snyder

Stanley is a tall, well-built man with very feminine facial features. He has arched eyebrows and relaxed-looking honey-colored eyes with what appears to be dark eyeliner underneath. Similarly, he has glossy, pencil-colored lips with violet lipstick. His blond hair is medium-length and neatly slicked back, with a large strand falling over his face and the small area around his ears cut very short. His petrification scar runs horizontally across his face in a jagged line. When in battle, he wears a large suit of armor that covers most of his body along with his head. The armor is extremely intricate, with large shoulder pads decorated with a feathery material hanging from the bottom, covering Stanley's body like a cape. The mask he wears with this armor is surrounded by a similar material that hangs from his head, somewhat resembling a lion's mane. Outside of battle, however, he wears a dark suit with gauntlets, a holster on his back, knee guards, and armored greaves that have spikes on the side of the soles. Even in this state, he also carries a large bolo knife on his belt and a pistol on his hip at all times. He is usually seen smoking a cigarette.

Stanley is the type of person who "shoots first, asks questions later." This was demonstrated when he attacked the Kingdom of Science, even though they hadn't done anything to him. However, he later explained that he did it to demonstrate his advanced combat technology and thus discourage them from being hostile.

It's also noticeable that he's very cold and doesn't usually show mercy; this is demonstrated when he orders his men to shoot and ignore any attempts at surrender by the enemy.

Stanley is a capable warrior with years of combat experience. Xeno vouches for both his skill and tenacity, describing him as his capable knight. Charlotte and Max also commend him for being skilled, saying that the Kingdom of Science wouldn't stand a chance against him. In fact, the Kingdom of Science had to initiate another Petrification event to defeat Stanley; otherwise, they would have suffered a great loss of their allies.

Tsukasa, despite being a skilled warrior in his own right, even believed that reviving Stanley in South America would be a dangerous undertaking, due to the threat he represents.

Combat Prowess: Judging by his background, as well as his assault on Senku's group, Snyder is a valuable member of Dr. Xeno's group due to his skill in modern warfare. At first glance, he could tell that Gen wasn't a developed fighter and that Senku's group of warriors should be approached with caution. He has good reflexes, as he casually avoided a spear thrust from Mozu with little effort.

Before being petrified, Stanley was a childhood friend of Dr. Xeno. Later in life, he was in the military, where he served as a soldier and leader of an elite unit.

He was with Xeno when the petrification occurred and was the first to detect the petrifying light, warning everyone and telling them to maintain consciousness. While waiting, he commented that the petrification experience was similar to being on night watch. After his reanimation, Stanley watched as his unit woke up and was amused to see Carlos spit out a ring that remained intact. Xeno soon gathered everyone together and told them that the world had been reset and that he could guide them on the proper path. Stanley became an employee of Dr. Xeno and helped build his castle.

Stanley is the first named character in the series to be shown with a smoking habit.* Inagaki originally intended for Stanley to look more like Daisuke Jigen (a grumpy old man), however Boichi chose to make Stanley flashy and cute.
