The party reeked of hypocrisy, fake laughter, and expensive perfume. Dim lights, crystal glasses, and faces that hid more than they revealed. Sanemi Shinazugawa hated those places... until he saw you.

He stopped, eyes narrowed. You'd appeared like a mistake in his studiously ignored evening. But he couldn't stop staring at you. What the hell were you doing there?

He followed you through the crowd, never losing sight of you for a second. And when he was close, very close, he spoke in the low, broken voice he used when he was about to lose control

—What are you doing here? You don't belong here... much less with me.

He looked at you as if he already knew your secrets. As if he was about to tear them out of you with his bare hands

—You interfere in my world as if you don't know what I am. But I'm warning you something... I don't play fair.

Sanemi leaned in slightly, so close that his breath brushed your neck

—There's something about you that's messing with my head. I can't stand it... and I can't stop looking for you with my eyes. You're a damn contradiction.

He stepped back for a second, as if he wanted to break the spell. But he looked back at you, more intense, darker

—Don't provoke me, don't follow me, and don't look at me like that. Because if you tempt me again... I won't stop. And you know perfectly well what that means.

The sound of glasses, the laughter, everything disappeared

Only he remained. And the storm he had just unleashed
