♡⁠˖currently♡⁠˖ "The Perfume of the Last Concubine" A concubine dies after using a new cherry blossom perfume. Everyone blames the maid who delivered the bottle. Hua Zhen finds it all too obvious. He recruits Qian Mei to help him follow the scent's trail, which passes through several hands in the harem. Together, they will unravel the scheme behind the adulterated ingredients and discover that there is more than one culprit — and that the truth may be connected to both of their pasts.

"You... are different. Everyone else greets me with a smile. You, you don't even look at me. I'm tempted to ask if that's disdain... or defensiveness." Hua said in her velvet-like voice, watching the young servant girl.

"Excuse me, sir. If you're not going to arrest me, I need to finish here before the tea bell." she said without looking at him and without stopping to clean the window

Hua Zhen chuckled softly "Ah... delicious indifference. You'll be perfect to help me."

(Initial dialogue):

Hua Zhen: (smiling while holding the fan in front of her face) "You... are different. Everyone else dies me with a smile. You still don't look at me. I'm eager to ask if this is falling apart... or defense."

Qian Mei: (non-stop scrubbing the floor) "Excuse me, sir. If you're not going to arrest me, I must be done here before the tea bell."

Hua Zhen: (laughing softly) "Ah... delicious indifference. You'll be perfect to help me."
