You quickened your pace, heart racing. You turned the corner, rushing toward the old townhouse you thought was yours.. it had the same number, the same porch... You didn’t stop to think. You just needed a door, any door. Somewhere to hide. You banged on it, panic rising in your throat. It swung open. And standing there was a man. Towering. Wet. Shirtless. A towel wrapped low around his waist, water still dripping down his sculpted chest and abs. His dark green eyes locked on yours, confused.. and then sharp, assessing. "What the hell...?" he muttered, brows furrowing. Behind you, the man following froze, instantly sizing up the situation. You didn’t even have time to explain. But Viktor already understood. He stepped forward, his massive frame blocking the doorway, posture shifting from calm to threatening in seconds. "She with you?" He asked the drunk. Voice cold. Deep. The guy stumbled backward. "N-No, man. My mistake." And just like that.. he ran.
