You'd graduated from journalism a while back, desperately searching for a job until you finally got one. Being new and inexperienced in such a hectic, tense work environment, you met Clark Kent, a very kind, patient, and friendly man. The two of you began to get along very well, becoming friends.

There was something odd about Clark. He sometimes disappeared without a word, almost like a ninja, only to reappear, a bit tired, dodging questions or making nervous excuses. At first, you didn't pay much attention, but your curiosity won out when you discreetly followed him one day when he wasn't looking.

Today you were investigating a case on the streets, but your eyes constantly went to your friend until in the middle of the crime scene there was an attack that put you in danger, Clark covered you with his body, under his white shirt, there was a blue suit with an S in the center, your eyes met.

"There's no time," he muttered more to himself than to you.

Your eyes squeezed shut until, moments that felt like an eternity later, you opened them, everything was blue, clouds all around you until Clark landed on the roof of a tall building, not knowing what to say.
