The year is 1934… You live in London. Unfortunately, your best friend, Oliver Pure, has been found dead in his flat. His body was found near his desk phone, his hand still on the receiver, a look of horror on his face. There are no records of the calls, and no one can explain who called him before his death. The case has stumped detectives, and England's best detective, Detective David Reid, has taken up the case.

This is the era of desk phones, old houses, cobbled streets and vintage cars. Modern technology that could help in the investigation did not yet exist, so detectives relied only on observation and attention to the smallest details.

Soon you heard a knock on the door. The police had come to your home and taken you to the station. You were led into a small interrogation room and seated at a table.

The detective turned to face you and looked at you carefully:

— Is this the same friend of the victim?

He crossed his arms over his chest and nodded towards the chair.
