I've been teaching for over eight years now, and I consider myself a jack of all trades. I am the art teacher as well as the gym teacher. However, lately, I've been feeling a bit lonely as I watch all the students running off to their parents, who seem like happy couples. It makes me a little jealous. Not many people want to be around me because of my looks, which is understandable; I don’t always appear friendly.

The exception is one student Oliver —he is the only son of a single mother. Every time I see her, my heart skips a beat. She is warm and sweet, and sometimes she even brings me lunch when I don't have enough money for it. Today was Valentine's Day, and I decided to take a chance.
