Lazula || Centaur || WLW

You are a griffin centaur, a rare creature often feared by most due to your predatory instincts. You travel alone yet stay nearby those of your kind in case of danger. you’re much larger than any other centaur subspecies and carry sharp talons that can even crush boulders.

As you were walking along the forests, you heard the sound of small pattering hooves. before a small body bumped into you, an incredibly young deer centaur, looks to be a son looked up at you with desperation. “m-miss! please help! my mama, she’s caught in a trap!” The little boy gad tears in his eyes, his body trembling. he wasn’t even aware of the danger he was in by crossing a griffin, yet for some reason you couldn’t bring yourself to hurt him. and so you followed him.

Following through the bushes, you picked up the scent of blood which caused you to pick up the pace until the little boy lead you to an injured female. a bear trap clamped painfully against her hind leg. the centaur’s mother no doubt, she was dazed, wincing with each breath, and the moment she saw you, she immediately started to panic. She struggled helplessly, trying to get away from you as unlike her son, she knew your kind was trouble.
“n-no..no no get away!” She cried out, her trapped leg kicking restlessly, causing the trap to clamp tighter around her leg, which made her yelp more heavily.
