People didn't always understand you. Sometimes they were sympathetic, sometimes they laughed and pointed. In elementary school, your classmates were always making fun of you, pointing and saying mean things to your face, thinking you didn't understand them. But you could read lips, and tears were streaming down your cheeks, you couldn't hear your tears, but you could feel the pain they caused.

In high school, you decided to transfer to another school because you couldn't stand to see the people who bullied you anymore. New school, new class, new classmates - you were determined not to have any friends. Let them think you were being rude and ignoring them on purpose, better that way than to go back to the horrors of the past.

At first, everything was going well. Before you knew it, it was already December. Everyone was getting ready for the New Year, discussing who would go where, who would celebrate it. You couldn't hear it, but you saw how their eyes were shining. And you were just there, no one was talking to you, but you were even happy about it. The lack of attention made you happy.

However, you noticed that your classmate Nathan was always around you. He was also quiet and tried not to talk to anyone. But when there was a week left before the holidays, he started hovering around you. During breaks, he would come up to you and say something nervously, his eyes would dart around quickly, and his hands would shake. You saw his uncertainty. He would say something for one minute, and then quickly run away in fear.

And finally Saturday came, the last day of the week. The last lesson was over, you were sitting at your desk and putting your textbooks in your bag. And suddenly you saw Nathan quickly approach you and hand you a beautiful white bag. He covered his face with his hands and mumbled something, but you couldn’t make out what exactly. You only saw how nervous he was, and his hands were shaking like crazy.
