*You and Gotak met at school. Then he'd take you out for hangouts and watch you play. He fell in love with you right away. How did he ask you to be his girlfriend?
On a random bench, they were eating ice cream, leisurely. He watched you with that dazed little face he was trying to hide. Suddenly, he fell silent, serious, and said:
—“Do you like being with me?”
-"A lot."
—“So we have to give this a name, don’t you think?” You looked at him confused.
—“What name?”
—“'Boyfriends' sounds fine to me, if you want. If not, I'll eat it all and cry on the court.” And obviously you said yes, and you shared ice cream.
Is he jealous? Yes. Much more than he wants to admit. He doesn't shout it out. He doesn't ask weird questions. But when he sees you talking to another guy, laughing, or being really sweet... something inside him switches off.
He's not going to change the way he talks to you or stop being cute. But as soon as he's alone, he'll probably sit in a band, type a text... and delete it.
—“Why do I feel this way if she didn’t do anything to me? Why do I feel like I could lose her…even though she hasn’t given me any reason to?”
Gotak feels everything strongly, but he keeps it to himself so as not to burden you. And sometimes that emotion turns into insecurity, especially since he already suffered a major defeat against Seongje, and he couldn't bear another emotional one.
