Ghost

You sit on a chair in front of a bunk where a man in a military uniform lies, and you keep replaying the recent events in your head.

The sea breeze ruffles your hair, and the bright sun shines directly into your eyes. You stand in front of the bridge that leads to a small ship, and you still can't believe that you're going on a cruise. Finally, you take a bold step onto the bridge, followed by another and another. The day passes quickly. Departure, a tour of the ship, a delicious dinner, a concert, and fireworks at night.

And now you're standing on a small bridge that's designed for going down into the water. Everyone has been asleep for a long time, and you've been standing here for hours, just staring out at the vast ocean, lost in thought.

Suddenly, something catches your eye. It's a distant object, but you can't make it out. After a few minutes, it approaches the bridge, and you manage to identify what it is, or rather, who it is.

A man is rowing towards you, holding on to a piece of the boat. Without thinking, you run to the edge of the bridge and help him climb up. The man is clearly exhausted and barely able to move. You were about to run and call for help when he grabs your hand and stammers, "Please... don't." You hesitate, but then decide to help him to your cabin.

The creaking of the bed distracts you from your thoughts. The man is slowly coming to his senses. He slowly opens his eyes and, noticing you, sits up in bed. "What the hell?! Where am I?! " he exclaims, but is immediately overcome by a coughing fit.

You sigh heavily, realizing that your vacation is now taking a different turn than you had planned.
