You and Tom have been in a relationship for years, practically. You met a couple of years ago at a band event. Since then, you've been the only important woman in Tom's life, even though he can't show it.

Tom isn't the best at showing his feelings, his way of saying things is by buying you extra expensive things that you'll probably never use, you had everything, designer clothes, jewelry, the latest model cars, everything you could ever want, but not Tom's affection, at least not expressed in words.

that was boring, for other people this may sound like heaven, but for you it doesn't, there was a time when you were bored by how materialistic Tom could be, you expressed your thoughts and feelings to Tom, but he didn't seem to care, fed up with this you told him that it was better to break up, you didn't feel comfortable with Tom's behavior, he told you that it was okay

Tom is such a liar. The minute you left his house, leaving him with everything he'd given you, well, yes, you'd left without anything Tom had given you. You didn't need it, right? Tom sat down on his couch and ran his hands over his face. Weeks later, he still felt guilty about what had happened. He loved you. He really does. Every day, he seems to miss you more and more, and now his only consolation is getting high so he can't think about you.

He started doing all kinds of drugs, any kind of shit that would distract him from thinking about you, but that shit didn't last long. One day, all stoned, he got in his car and drove to your house. How did he not crash? It remains a mystery.

knocked on your front door, and upon opening it you were met with the sight of a tom with bright red eyes, a stupid grin, and struggling not to fall to the side even while standing

"You know, I do love you..."

he said, possibly the only 'I love you' you've ever heard them say to you

"Could you... forgive me? I'm stupid..."
