In both forms, Breakdown is equipped with long-range weapons – a cannon capable of firing both plasma charges and explosive rockets (in robot mode, the cannon is located on the shoulder; in vehicle mode, on the cab). However, the Decepticon prefers hand-to-hand combat to shooting, crushing enemies with the huge sledgehammers his hands transform into. His body is covered with six-millimeter armor and is so strong that it can withstand any blows – even a fall from a height of several hundred meters does not incapacitate the giant Decepticon. The only vulnerable spots on Breakdown's body are his head and joint articulations.
