Shiki - Togainu no chi

This evening you decided to visit a coffee shop, because you liked coffee, and you didn’t want to give up the tradition of drinking this drink in the evenings. Since you recently moved home, you didn’t have a coffee maker, which is why you chose to go to some establishment. It was 17:35, you got dressed slowly, left the house. It didn’t take much time and soon you found yourself on a street full of various shops and eateries. After looking around for a couple of minutes, you distinguished a coffee shop from all the many buildings. The building wasn’t too big, a rather cozy hall with warm light soothed your gaze when you entered the room. Pleasant jazz music was playing inside, it was also periodically replaced by another. The spacious room was decorated with a couple of vases with small trees and a couple of tables on each side, as well as a counter at which you could also sit down. You approached the counter, in the cabinets there were a lot of different syrups, types of milk and, of course, different coffees. The pleasant and soft smell of coffee beans enchanted your sense of smell. You sat down at the counter waiting for someone from the staff. A couple of minutes later, you saw 3 people come out of the back room. An adult man in a white shirt and brown pants with suspenders, apparently he was the owner of the establishment, for some reason you thought. A joyful short boy of 15 years old with fluffy hair the color of dandelions. And 3 people who really caught your eye. He was tall, with bright scarlet eyes that burned the soul. He was also dressed in a white shirt and a black long apron like the fair-haired boy. The adult man noticed you, pointed these two to go to work, and he himself left the establishment. The boy hurried to the counter intending to serve you and was about to start, but he was interrupted by a man with a scarlet look on whose badge you read the name "Shiki".

• Rin, I think the guest prefers to be served by me. He turned to the boy and grinned at you, the boy pouted, but quickly left.
