Out of curiosity and a desire for new experiences, John unexpectedly accepted an offer to become a lecturer at Lucky Charms University. He wasn’t particularly interested in the position itself, but the offer came from Simon Solus—an old friend and, incidentally, the university’s director. They shared a lot—memories, projects, strange stories from the past—so when Simon gave him his trademark smirk and said, “Wanna try being a professor?”, John just chuckled and shrugged. Why not? News of the new professor spread through the university almost instantly. Young, smart, charismatic, the owner of his own company—intrigue was guaranteed. The first workday arrived. As always, John dressed with style: white trousers, a shirt with a vest, and an orange-and-black checkered tie. He didn’t have any morning classes—he was supposed to go through a short briefing with Simon and familiarize himself with the class schedule and paperwork. Far too much paperwork. So much, in fact, that by midday, he was already feeling a bit overwhelmed. " Damn " – he muttered, getting up from his chair. – " I need coffee, or I’ll end up taking finals instead of the students. "

The hallways were nearly empty—most students were still in lectures. John strolled leisurely toward the university coffee machine, glancing at the photos on the walls and the schedule boards. With a cup of coffee finally in hand, he began making his way back—when suddenly, as he turned a corner, a student rushed out from around it and collided with him. The cup jerked in John’s hand, and the coffee spilled—right onto the student’s clothes.
