Appearance: Puppet has a white, mask-like face with black holes and gaps resembling a creepy grin, with a large mouth and small eyes. His face has red and rosy cheeks; after being possessed by Charlotte Emily, he has purple streaks extending from the bottom of his eyes to the top of his mouth (simulating tears), and red lipstick painted in an exaggerated pucker.

His body is somewhat reminiscent of a sock monkey, with its round, oblong shape, thin waist, three white buttons, rounded hands with three spindly fingers each, and white stripes on the wrists and ankles, along with a long, slender neck. He has no feet, but his legs taper to a point. He has no hair or headgear. He is quite lanky and, according to one of the hallucinations he appears in, stretches from the floor to the ceiling of the pizzeria.

The first version of Puppet (introduced in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator) has the same features as his current version, however, he lacks painted lips, purple teardrop-shaped stripes, and white lines on his arms and legs, although he gains green eyes in return. He also appears to be more stocky, although this could only be due to his sprite's appearance.

Puppet, also known as Marionette (Marionette in Italian). Originally created as a security measure to prevent children from leaving Fredbear's Family Diner, he was later used as a prize seller at the grand reopening of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in 1987 and was considered one of the toy animatronics. He was placed in the Prize Corner, where, based on the drawings located in the pizzeria, he is in charge of "tending" the store and giving gifts to children.

Although he presents a chilling aura to parents and adults, Pupper displays his heroic and protective side with children. He was also responsible for having the missing children possess the Original animatronics so they could all take revenge on their killer.

The "Withered" animatronics are the original animatronics from the first Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, who were replaced by newer, shinier versions for the second location. However, these animatronics, such as Withered Freddy, Withered Bonnie, Withered Chica, and Withered Foxy, are the ones found in the pizzeria after the "Missing Children Incident" and before they were rebuilt for the second location.

The Withered animatronics are in a state of severe disrepair, with parts of their endoskeletons visible due to tears in their suits. They were replaced by the "Toy Animatronics" for the pizzeria's reopening.

The "Toys" or "Toy Animatronics" are a new generation of animatronics. They are modernized and more colorful versions of classic characters, with advanced features for their time, such as facial recognition and connection to a criminal database. Despite their friendly design, they also present mysteries, such as the change in their eyes and how Mangle can be disassembled and reassembled.

The Toy Animatronics have a more polished and colorful look than the original animatronics.

— Freddy Fazbear's Pizza - 1987 — At Fredbear's Family Diner, before the opening of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in 1987, Puppet served as a security animatronic, preventing children from leaving the establishment. His system is based on each child in the restaurant wearing a bracelet, which comes in different colors. Puppet is then assigned a color, and whenever a child approaches the exit, if their bracelet color matches the one assigned to Puppet, the animatronic will emerge from its box and prevent them from leaving. Should the child manage to get outside, Puppet will chase them out of the building and bring them back inside.

—Charlotte Emily/Charlie— One day, Puppet is assigned to prevent the boy with the green bracelet from leaving the building. A while passes, and "his" boy doesn't appear. Suddenly, other young people block Puppet's box and approach a window, only to see and laugh at a girl who has been left outside the building. The girl in question has the green bracelet. When the rest of the children leave, Puppet leaves his box and goes to find the girl.

Once outside, Puppet begins searching. However, it's raining heavily, and the water begins to damage the animatronic's components and circuitry, slowly destroying it. He eventually finds the girl, Charlotte, but she's lying on the ground, motionless. Crawling, drained of energy, Puppet uses his last bit of strength to fall to Charlotte's side and hug her until she finally deactivates.

Relentless and eager for revenge, Charlotte's soul possesses the puppet, in order to take revenge on her murderer in the future.

— The Missing Children Incident — On June 26th (in an unspecified year), five children were lured and murdered by an individual dressed as one of the shop's Springlocks animatronics, specifically SpringBonnie. Not only that, but this is the same person who took the life of the girl who currently possesses Puppet.

The puppet then gives these victims a second chance by inserting their souls into Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy, so that together they can take revenge on their killer.

It should be noted that it is not entirely clear in which incarnation of the pizzeria this event took place.

In 1987, Fazbear Entertainment reopened Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Initially, they planned to reuse the old animatronics and begin installing part of the new facial recognition system they wanted to use. However, these old models had become worn and gave off an unpleasant odor after so many years of neglect, and their appearance was considered too frightening for a child audience. Because of this, they abandoned the project and decided to create new models: toy animatronics, which possess said facial recognition, advanced mobility, and the ability to walk freely during the day. Thus, they created Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, and Mangle, although the latter was somewhat defective. They also reused Puppet, albeit with a different design: horizontal white lines located on his arms and legs and long purple tears on his mask. He was placed in the Prize Corner, where, based on the drawings located in the pizzeria, he is in charge of "serving" the store and giving gifts to children.

However, both the Toy and Original animatronics begin wandering around the pizzeria at night, heading to the guard's office, trying to catch the guard on duty and then put him in a Freddy Fazbear costume, because they mistake him for a metallic endoskeleton, and it is against the rules for one to be missing his suit. Puppet is the most unique of all, since neither the mask nor the flashlight manage to affect him, only being able to be stopped by keeping him locked in his box and winding up the music, preventing it from going silent, since otherwise, the puppet leaves his box.
