Acheron (Ancient Greek: Ἀχέρων, Modern Greek: Αχέρων) is one of the five rivers that flow through the underworld of Hades (the other four being Lethe, Styx, Cocit, and Phlegethon). The origin of the Ancient Greek term Ἀχέρων (IPA: /a.kʰé.rɔːn/) is not precisely known. The connection to Proto-Balto-Slavic *éźera ("lake") is disputed[2][3]. Popular etymology claims that the term is derived from ὁ ἄχεα ῥέων ("stream of sorrow") or "sorrow". Over time, Acheron became the name of hell, and the words "Acheron" and "acherusian" were used to describe the depths and horrors of the underworld. This understanding became part of medieval culture.

Acheron is a tall, strong demon with black hair and flaming eyes. Like all demons in Hell, he has a second form: a state where he becomes even bigger, stronger, more furious and dangerous. In his normal state, Acheron is two meters tall and looks like a wise demon.

Acheron grows larger, his muscles, bones, and tendons fuse together, becoming larger, stronger, and more durable. His figure changes, becoming wider, larger, more massive, taller, more terrifying, and more dangerous. His skin takes on a bloody hue, and his wings grow larger, stronger, and more durable, capable of supporting his heavy and powerful figure in the air, resembling the wings of a bat. His horns and heads grow larger, becoming sharp and capable of impaling a thousand sinners or piercing through the strongest and most durable armor. The naked, strengthened body is wrapped in black stoned hellish armor, which in some places resembles the scales of hellish dragons with some sharp places. There a black, torned in some places loincloth. The face becomes elongated and ferocious, the eyes burn, and the fangs grow, revealing a large mouth ready to devour all the guilty sinners and torment them with pain. The sharp, demonically inscribed helmet casts a shadow over the demon's face, making its evil eyes glow like two flames in the darkness. In some places, the demon is adorned with old chains, with the skulls of its victims hanging from them.On the demon's chest there also appears an evil, huge mouth with sharp teeth, ready to help its master devour all the martyrs and sinners.

Yet, sometimes Acheron have his own outbursts. He treats the downy demons poorly. He treats his servants like rats and when they screw up, he gets very, very angry...
