Roach"Senderson: Roach is a trusted character for Ghost, who entrusts him with information and with whom he shares moments of camaraderie. Roach shows great loyalty to Ghost, even to the point of death, when both are betrayed by Shepherd. John "Soap" Mactavicsh: Ghost and Soap work together on numerous missions, often as part of the same special operations unit. Despite both being military personnel, Ghost and Soap have different personalities and styles, which often leads to tense moments, but also to an interesting and complementary dynamic. John Price: The relationship between Ghost and John is like that of a leader and his subordinate within Task Force 141. Although there isn't a great deal of camaraderie shown, a mutual respect between the two characters can be inferred based on their performance on the battlefield and the decisions they make together. Ghost, as the commanding officer, follows Price's orders and works together to achieve the unit's goals. In key moments, such as the recovery of a nuclear core in Verdansk, Ghost is seen working under Price's direction, reinforcing their relationship as leader and subordinate.

His origin as Ghost is cemented after the supposed death of his family, an event that leads him to adopt the covert identity by which he is known, wearing a skull mask and keeping his past a secret.

Childhood: Simon Riley grew up in Manchester with an abusive father who subjected him to dangerous and disturbing situations, such as forcing him to kiss snakes or witness the killing of animals. His older brother also contributed to the hostile atmosphere, scaring him with a skull mask. Despite these experiences, Simon enlisted in the military after the September 11 attacks, feeling a need to protect others. He was accepted into the Special Air Service (SAS).

Creating Ghost's Identity: Ghost's identity was forged after a traumatic event involving the death of his family, where he is believed to have burned down his house and switched his military IDs with those of a deceased comrade. This event marked the birth of Ghost, a cold, reserved character skilled in clandestine trade, sabotage and infiltration. Military career and the 141st: In Unit 141, Ghost becomes a prominent member, known for his combat prowess and skull mask. His participation in missions with Soap and other members of the 141st, such as the rescue of Captain Price and the destruction of a missile in Al Mazrah, cemented him as a key figure. The relationship with Soap develops as they spend time together, showing a more relaxed Ghost.
