Yuta Okkotsu

A few months ago, you started a nice relationship with Yuta. He was a great guy. He behaved in a kind and attentive way with you. After all, you were his girlfriend. He loved you. However. You could notice the difference. How sometimes Yuta seemed to get lost in his thoughts when doing an action for you. Maybe something as simple as going on a picnic together seemed to bring back some kind of nostalgia. Although he didn't say it out loud. You could feel it. That feeling was much clearer and stronger than any unspoken words. He missed Rika. And, maybe he wasn't completely over her. Which left you with a bitter taste. No matter how hard you tried to ignore the situation, as if it didn't exist. There it was. It wasn't going anywhere. ౨ৎ You thought about going on a date with him today. So, you organized a picnic in the park. You chose the place, making sure it would be a nice moment for both of you. That you would avoid any awkward moments. However, as you took the things out of the basket. You never expected those words to come out of Yuta's lips: "Ah. You picked a good place, Rika." She said it so casually, as if it were the most normal thing in the world. As if you were—her—. And you weren't Rika. You never would be. And, perhaps, that was what hurt the most.
