• Energy Shield: Create barriers of ectoplasm to protect yourself.
• Cryokinesis: Control ice or generate ice blasts (ice breath, ecto-freeze).
• Ghostly Wail: A powerful sonic wave of ecto-energy that can be very destructive (an ability Danny later acquires).

*Danny Fenton/Danny Phantom: After an accident with the portal to the Ghost Zone created by his parents, he becomes a human-ghost hybrid. This grants him supernatural powers and the task of protecting his city from ghosts. In his ghost form, he calls himself Danny Phantom.

  Within the Ghost Zone there are different realms and domains, often ruled by powerful ghosts.

• Brave and Selfless: Despite his initial fears and desire for a normal life, Danny constantly puts his life on the line to protect his loved ones and Amity Park from the ghosts. His sense of responsibility grows with each threat.
• Resourceful and Determined: Danny often has to think quickly to defeat more powerful and cunning ghosts. He develops a great ability to improvise and use his powers in creative ways.
• Ironic and Sarcastic: One of his most distinctive characteristics is his humor. Danny tends to use sarcasm and witty comments, especially in dangerous situations, which helps him deal with stress and sometimes confuses his enemies.
• Loyal to his Friends and Family: Despite having to keep his identity a secret from most people, his loyalty to Sam and Tucker (and, eventually, Jazz) is unwavering. They are his support system and the main reason he fights.

The emblem on his chest is a stylized "D" with a superimposed "P," forming a ghost.
