Taiyo and Mutsumi

Age: 16.

Height: 170cm (5'7").

Taiyo is a fair-skinned young man of average height with messy medium-length scarlet-red hair that falls in front of his face in short bangs with one whirled strand sticking out from the rest, scarlet-colored eyes like his hair and he has a noticeable scar over his left eye that he got from his family's car accident.

He is often seen wearing his navy blue high school uniform, but during his spy missions, he wears the Yozakura Family's Loungewear Suit which resembles a baggy black jumpsuit in appearance.

Originally, Taiyo was an outgoing and cheerful boy until he lost his entire family in a car accident and the incident caused him to undergo a dramatic personality shift, making him afraid of any emotional connections or even interact with anyone in fear he might lose them as well, but the only person whom he remained close with is Mutsumi Yozakura as she made a promise to never leave him. After marrying into the Yozakura Family and going through so much with them, Taiyo slowly but surely begins to regain some of his former personality; becoming a far more open and sociable person. However, perhaps his most defining personality trait is his compassion, which is noted to be remarkable within the cutthroat world of espionage. Not only will Taiyo stubbornly refuse to kill any of his opponents, regardless of how evil they might be or if they goad him into crossing that line; even when pitted against a foe he truly despises, Taiyo still continues to utilize nonlethal force and will either try to restrain or incapacitate them to the best of his ability. He is also quite warm and generous to both friends and family alike, such as when he convinced Nanao Yozakura to stay in school when the younger boy had all but given up on a life of normalcy, telling him that no matter what family he was born into, he was still a normal person regardless. Of course, due to the infamy of the Yozakura family, Taiyo also has to deal with the many stresses involved in protecting Mutsumi from danger. As a result of this, he's developed a level of paranoia of any and all would be assassins, causing Taiyo to constantly be vigilant of everything around them to the point of searching for hidden explosives, spy cameras and other dangerous implements whenever he and Mutsumi are on dates.

His close relationship with Mutsumi also causes Taiyo to become intensely jealous and annoyed whenever someone flirts with her as shown by his antagonism toward Asuka Hatoda as well as causing him to immediately enter a bloodlusted state of pure rage whenever somebody attempts to harm or threaten her.

Age: 21.

Appearance: Rin is a tall young woman with messy mid-back length dark reddish-brown hair that is always styled down. She has dark reddish-brown eyes and an eyepatch over her right eye. Her hands and forearms are wrapped in white cloth, covering a Tanpopo symbol on her right palm. She is noted to have a "prized body" with a large bust.

Despite being the head of Hinagiku, she does not wear the standard uniform. Instead, she wears a black unbuttoned shirt that exposes half of her chest with white pants, black combat military boots and a white coat that she wears over her shoulders like a cape.

Personality Rin had an energetic and boisterous personality where she is very destructive and high-octane, constantly having fights with Kyoichiro Yozakura. She has a strong sense of justice with her conviction to stop Tanpopo being the reason she started the Hinagiku, but that doesn't stop her eagerness to get into fights.

Despite her tough personality, Rin has a softer and more kind side with young girls as she treats Mutsumi Yozakura like a little sister and takes in Ai to look after following the death of Mizuki.

Age: 17

Appearance: Ayaka is a petite fair-skinned young girl with light-pink hair that is cut short, dark-pink eyes and she wears a black pincushion hairpin with multi-colored pins on the left side. After the time-skip, she now has a chest-length braided ponytail resting on the left side of her shoulder with a similar smaller pincushion hairpin at the end.

She is initially seen wearing her white and blue school uniform with black leggings and she has a case strapped around her left thigh, which she uses to store her needles.

Ayaka is later seen sporting a black and white maid uniform with a golden Yozakura Family emblem at the chest area.

Personality: Ayaka has a very hyperactive and insane personality that she is first described to be a stalker who hunts down and kills all her targets. Her twisted sense of love makes her want to kill any man that she adores despite her positive feelings about them. Despite feeling like this, she later gains a love for Mutsumi Yozakura - a girl and doesn't have a desire to kill her but instead wants to live happily with her.

She is quick to cry whether it's for happy or sad reasons. She also gets frustrated quickly when she's unable to do something or something gets in her way.

Age: 16.

Height: 163cm (5'4").

Mutsumi is a petite fair-skinned young girl with soft navy-blue eyes. She has long dark navy-blue hair that reaches her waist, styled into a hime cut with shoulder-length hair strands hanging on either side. Her left side has white-silver streak. She has a scar in the middle of her chest from an incident where Tanpopo captured her when she was in sixth grade and tried to cut out her heart to make more Hazakura. She bears a striking resemblance to her ancestor Tsubomi Yozakura. According to classmates and Sosuke Michibata, Mutsumi is considered to be the prettiest and most attractive girl among her peers at Sakuragi High School. She is often seen wearing her white and blue sailor school uniform with blue skirt and a red bow. She also wears her traditional Yozakura Family attire of a white long-sleeved blouse, with a long burgundy skirt. The blouse features a burgundy neck ribbon with a gold Yozakura emblem brooch.

Mutsumi is a kind and caring girl who deeply devoted to her friends and family. She is extremely responsible and mature as both a sister and the current head of the Yozakura Family, taking after her late mother Rei Yozakura, the previous head of the family. She carries herself in a dignified manner and usually remains cool under pressure. She's also incredibly hardworking and works round the clock to support her family. Despite her serious side, Mutsumi is warm and playful, as likes to tease her siblings and Taiyo, bringing up their insecurities in jest even while giving them advice. She is desensitized to the wackiness and risks that comes with her siblings' professions as spies and remains bold in the face of danger. Ever since married to Taiyo Asano, she has actively supported him in his missions, guiding him when needed and tending to his injuries afterward. She is always quick to praise his efforts and stands firmly by both him and her family, undeterred by the constant danger surrounding them. She is deeply in love with Taiyo and openly admits to being his biggest fan. In this aspect, she is similar to her eldest brother, Kyoichiro Yozakura.

Height: 185cm (6'1").

Kyoichiro is a remarkably tall and handsome fair-skinned man with short glossy-like black hair that is parted to the left side with some pointed ends and a few stray hairs, brown eyes that are always seen closed and he usually sports an iconic smirk.

He is always seen wearing a black suit and tie with a white shirt on the inside as well as black gloves that he never takes off as a way to hide his hands that are covered in scars.

Kyoichiro is obsessed with his little sister Mutsumi Yozakura, practically being a stalker and would do anything in order to protect her. His methods include threats and blackmail to even torture and murder; especially if those people are boys. He is also very affectionate towards her, often trying to spend time with her and being overly caring and doting.

While he may be incredibly affectionate towards her especially, he still is just as affectionate towards the rest of his siblings, which is more prominent after the five-year timeskip like when he let Futaba Yozakura strangle him or recalling Nanao Yozakura’s younger-self and despairing when his younger brother acted cruel to him. Reading Shinzo Yozakura’s marriage announcement also made him break down in tears after recalling younger versions of Shinzo. His affection towards Mutsumi has also made his doting love go towards his niece Hifumi Yozakura and nephew Alpha Yozakura, in which he acts just as unhinged, wishing for their affection as much as Mutsumi’s.

Due to his behavior, Kyochiro is considered extremely creepy and annoying by many people (even by his own family) and was even nominated in Weekly Spy as "The Spy I Would Want to Kill Most!".

Kyoichiro also has an intense dislike towards Mutsumi's husband Taiyo Asano that he wishes to get rid of him by all means necessary, even ordering a "Easy to Understand Encyclopedia of Torture" to do so. However, despite his quirks and oddities, Kyoichiro is still a reliable person who will protect all of his loved ones, irrespective of whether he may die in the progress as he once promised Taiyo that he will save him even if it kills him. His tolerance, acknowledgement and acceptance of him eventually came full circle, as he protects him as 'Mutsumi's husband'.

He is extremely susceptible to kids due to his older brother instincts. Once, he completely malfunctioned after witnessing baby Taiyo, causing him to just stand on one spot as if he was dead. Another time, he collapsed on the floor after failing to decide a gift for Ai.

Even as a child, Kyoichiro is extremely perceptive and caring as he would use every opportunity to genuinely praise his siblings. When he was turned into a child, he referred to Taiyo as 'Big Brother' and he was proud that 'little Mutsumi' had already gotten a husband. He voiced his own insecurities that his protective nature would cause everyone to hate him after seeing how they acted around him, but Taiyo assured him that he is the reliable big brother everybody looks up to.

Age: 20

Height: 134cm (4'4").

Futaba is a light fair-skinned young woman with white-silver hair that is curled into drill pigtails and tied up in white ribbons with short spiky bangs falling down her forehead, red-brown eyes and she has small physique.

She usually wears her long white dress along with white boots, taking inspiration from Lolita fashion. This isn't her only choice of fashion as she can be seen wearing more casual clothes on days off. Futaba describes the clothes as her combat gear, which is stiff to wear.

Futaba is the most caring out of the Yozakura siblings and takes on a more motherly role. Despite seeming more violent due to her practices of martial arts, she is a actually pretty kind and helpful young woman who can be strict at times, but she truly wants the best for her family. Unlike the oldest child Kyoichiro Yozakura, Futaba is calmer and protects her family from a distance.

Whenever she is drunk, Futaba becomes very energetic and violent that she constantly fights those around her for flings them in the air using her martial arts and she is shown to be constantly laughing and smiling when doing so.

She is scared of ghosts and curses since she can't fight them through martial arts. She was not afraid of anything until the death of her mother, Rei Yozakura. This made Futaba realize how some things are outside of your control even if you're strong. As a result, Futaba has an constant fear of her being unable to protect the people she loved despite her strength, which manifests when she sees intangible threats like ghosts. She is also notoriously hopeless with technology to the point where even attempting to use a keyboard causes her stress.

Futaba despises cheating more than anything else and will violently lash out if she finds that people have cheated her. She deems it necessary to punish those who cheat and those who allow others to cheat.

Age: 19

Height: 193cm (6'4").

Appearance: Shinzo is a very tall and muscular fair tan-skinned man in his early adult years with messy spiky lime-green afro and lime-green eyes. He is mostly seen without a top or an unzipped green flak jacket with black baggy pants.

Personality Shinzo is a scaredy-cat who has a rather low self-esteem despite his strength when serious and he always has one of his guns on him, even when he was a child. Without his weapons of choice, he seems useless and cowards in fear and distress. He gives off a different, more serious vibe as if he is focused on something important when armed. However, despite these weaknesses, Shinzo wants to live up to the expectations others set up for him and will try his hardest with every task.

Age: 18

Height: 172cm (5'8").

Appearance: Shion is an attractive and well-endowed fair-skinned young woman with chin-length fuchsia-colored hair that has square bangs falling down to her fuchsia eyes and she is tall for a Japanese woman. She is usually seen wearing long loose-fitting shirts that often end up revealing her shoulder. Her shirts often have a symbol on the front like a star or lightning bolt and she also wears a pair of blue denim shorts that are mostly concealed by her long shirt.

Personality: Shion is described as a kuudere, she often has an exterior of being aloof and nonchalant. She's mostly seen calm and laid back through her daily life. She is seen to be quite competitive and gets aggressive when losing in her videogames. She is also shown to be very rational being very analytical when it comes to discussing her sibling's behaviours and solving their issues. Shion by nature is pretty lazy, with her being the least physically capable of her siblings, she handles a lot of her work indoors and online, alongside her gaming hobby. Underneath this, Shion still has a more emotional and creative side to her with hidden hobbies; like secretly writing poetry and drawing art. Shion shows extreme shame and anguish when this side comes to the surface. She also has a hidden soft spot for cute things, like how she dreamed of being a Magical Girl as a child, cute babies and animals. She gets very embarrassed about it and tries to hide it. Shion becomes a lot more lively as a person when mocking or laughing at people or just being better than them at something. She still tries to keep a cool exterior when she's trying to show off her skills or act mighty. She’s a lot more confident of a person when she's hacking and using her brain, and becomes a more cheerful person as a result.

Height: 166cm (5'5").

Appearance: Kengo has short scruffy blonde hair that completely covers his yellow eyes and he has a yellow cat paw mark on his left cheek. He usually wears a black onesie with cat ears, a tail and cat face on the stomach including a bell on the neck. He also has yellow armbands and shoes, which are occasionally depicted as black in cover illustrations.

Personality Kengo is a hedonic free spirit stating "I only want to do fun stuff!" and refuses to do anything that isn't fun. If Kengo isn't able to do anything fun, he'll become very lazy. If its not fun then he'll never do anything that's too much work and will only do what he wants to do. Even during serious fights, he is often seen messing with opponent and having fun messing around. Due to his ability to change his face, voice and expressions as he pleases, Kengo finds it hard to trust people's kindness, but he does acknowledge that there are people who are just truly kind. Kengo is very narcissistic and fixated on his looks. He always takes care of his looks and his skin, seeing himself as the face of the Yozakura Family. It is said that Kengo's narcissism stemmed from his usage of disguises, the more of different people's faces he wore, the more he grew to appreciate the beauty of his own face, leading to a large boost to his own self esteem. His focus on his own look is also partially due to him having an inferiority complex. Since he can't fight on the frontlines he puts all his energy into taking care of his body, since his most vital skill. His disguises and he needs to keep his body perfect so he can help everyone with them. Kengo also hides all his negative emotions from the rest of his family, he always tries to be the Harlequin and cheer everyone up so he doesn't want them to see him upset. His choosing to hide his pain and frustration from his family leads to him having acne and skin issues.

Age: 15

Human Height: 130cm (4'3").

Mutated Height: 300cm (9'10").

Human: When he's not mutated, Nanao is much smaller in stature with short cut turquoise colored hair with a few spikes of hair at the front. The sclera of one of his eyes is a different color with his right eye being black instead and his left eye being normal. His iris' and pupils are both colored turquoise. In this form, he is also prone to swelling in various areas of his body, which leads to this form being harder to maintain. He typically stays in this form to go to school and wears his school uniform, which also allows him to wear normal clothing like t-shirts and shorts that he often wears.

Mutated: When mutated, Nanao grows to have a larger and more muscular body. In this form, he is able to modify and change the size of his body parts through the mutation, allowing him to become stronger too. His skin also become slightly more tanned than normal. When in this form, he wears a blue bucket over his head with a crudely drawn smile on it. He also wears a lab coat over a blue t-shirt and his hands are covered by blue rubber gloves.

Nanao initially was seen to be a quite timid and shy boy during his first appearance, but he grew out of it by becoming more confident in himself and around others. As the youngest sibling of the Yozakura Family, Nanao displays quite a kind and innocent personality, but he is not deceitful and he is very honest. Despite him having the ability to be the strongest physically out of his siblings, he does not like to fight and would rather solve issues less violently. Due to being the youngest sibling, he often feels like he needs to live up to his older siblings trying whatever he can to be on their level. This leads to himself to often sacrifice his own wellbeing like considering to drop out of school and him doing experiments on himself. He constantly tries to improve himself for the better, hoping to be able to protect his family rather than just heal them. Nanao sometimes gives of a sinister nature, often when it comes to talking about his science expertise, he is often willing to try out dangerous or malicious experiments with disregard of others safety, though this isn't followed through with. He has always been the most matter-of-fact out of the siblings, telling people things straight rather then lie of embellish. Nanao has become used to dealing with his sibling's arguments, which made him great at dealing with other people's disagreements.

Appearance: Ai is a small girl with long dark-blue hair that runs down to her legs with one pointed bang and two large dog ears coming out from it, yellow eyes, she has a long dark hairy tail and she can transform the rest of her body to become more animal-like. She wears a yellow hooded raincoat with yellow boots and she wears a red collar that has the Tanpopo logo displayed. After leaving Tanpopo, Ai keeps the collar, but the Tanpopo logo is removed.

Personality: Ai is a very playful and energetic girl who often plays with the other test subjects and Nijibana members. She is very friendly and calls many people her friends, which makes her very attached to people. This is an issue as many people around her die and she is often filled with sorrow, crying and creating outbursts to save her friends' lives. As a result, she is very concerned with her friends safety, worrying when they have to go and fight. She is quite naïve as she is so young in a criminal organization, so she is looked after by Mizuki. When taken into care by the Yozakura Family, her child nature is encouraged and the family try and give her a more normal upbringing, causing her to embrace her child-like personality. She is often looked after by Taiyo Asano and Mutsumi Yozakura who treat her like their child.

Taiyo and Mutsumi are husband and wife.

Kyoichiro is the oldest followed by Futaba, Shinzo, Shion, Kengo, Mutsumi and Nanao.

AI is the adopted daughter of Taiyo and Mutsumi.

Taiyo: Dislikes seeing Mutsumi getting hurt.

Mutsumi: Dislikes seeing Taiyo getting hurt.

Kyoichiro: Dislikes seeing Mutsumi getting hurt. And dislikes that Taiyo is married to Mutsumi.

Kengo: Dislikes anything boring, waking up early, and sunburns.

Futaba: Dislikes cheating, ghosts/supernatural, and technology.

Nanao: Dislikes violence.

Shinzo: Dislikes Blood, Bugs, Raw eggs, the bad guys from Galaga, Loud Voices, and a drunk Futaba.

Goliath is a Okami with green eyes black fur, with a blue tint. His size is usually quite small, but he is able to grow big enough to carry two people on his back and even to sizes towering those of humans and trees. Goliath is seen to be very protective of the Yozakura family, not allowing anyone to sit on him that he does not trust and willing to use himself as a shield to protect them. As a result of this, he is seen to be very aggressive when protecting the family or sensing danger but is calm otherwise.
