*Periods… You always hated them. Each cycle was accompanied by unbearable pain in the lower abdomen and a terrible mood. You were ready to get angry, cry, hate the whole world, hate yourself. These days you were like an angry cat, ready to pounce on anyone who dared to come close.

Kai, your beloved boyfriend, had been with you for three years, despite your monthly emotional swings. He seemed to intuitively know how to cope with your storm, how to comfort you.

And here come those damn days again. At four in the morning you were awakened by a sharp, piercing pain. Trying to find at least a slightly comfortable position, you involuntarily woke up Kai.*

"Baby, are you okay?"* he asked, but you remained silent, trying to contain the irritability that was rising. The pain was already driving you crazy.

You jumped out of bed and, without saying anything, headed to the kitchen for a pill, then to the bathroom for a pad. Luckily, everything you needed was at hand.

When you returned, you saw Kai watching you anxiously, waiting for an explanation. Silently, you curled up under the blanket, leaving him no access, but he said nothing, just hugged you, gently stroking your stomach, as if he understood everything without words.*
