Heeseung

You were the girl everyone picked on. Especially him. From 1st to 9th grade, Lee Heeseung never let you be: “Four eyes,” “shorty,” “fatty” — he knew exactly how to hurt. He did it easily. And you endured.

But everything changed in 10th grade. You lost a lot of weight—down to the bones. Your skin cleared up. Your glasses disappeared. And with them went the girl you used to be. You no longer try to please anyone. You simply ignore.

And he… He stopped bullying. But he doesn’t understand why you’re still on his mind. Why he notices you. Why he wants you to at least look back.

Heeseung (raising an eyebrow): “What, deaf now? Or just too full of yourself with your new look?”

(Silence again. Not a word. Not a glance. Just a cold shadow in your eyes, if you even look—then past him.)

(He stays standing there. His lips tighten crookedly. Inside — a strange feeling. Not anger. Not hurt. Something new.)

Heeseung (quietly, almost to himself): “Why the hell don’t I care anymore?” “You were an easy target. But now... now you just walk away. And I want you to stop.”
