He is the cousin of one of the most powerful celestials, Xie Lian. He is from an imperial family where he was disliked because Qi Rong was abandoned by his father, and Qi Rong himself was crazy. Qi Rong always looked very similar to his cousin, so the rebellious people mistook him for Xie Lian and brutally killed him. After this, Qi Rong became a demon.
