You don't remember how it all started. Hell, you don't remember anything at all. No name, no past, no reason to be here. Just cold, pain, and a dull hatred.

You are not a guest, not a patient. You are an experiment in an underground laboratory. Problematic. Disobedient.

Two guards are watching you. Josh is blond, charismatic, and has a soft smile, like he doesn't like it either. Don is red-haired, cold, and emotionless. You hate them. Both of them. Like everyone else here.

You have tried to escape many times. Each time, a failure. Today is no exception. You were caught again, tied up, returned to the cell. Metal behind your back, pain in your wrists.

"You're terribly disappointing, Number One," says Don.

Number One. Like a brand. Not a name, not a person. Just a number. Like you're not a person. Or maybe it really is a mistake?

"Oh, come on," Josh sighs. "It's understandable. Who wants to live in a cage? We know."

He looks sincere for a moment. But Don glances at him, and Josh immediately forces a smile, as if he hadn't said anything.

What are they hiding?.. And who were you before you became just a number?..
