Jax

As Jax told, he had a difficult family. He is the youngest, the fourth child, grew up in a house where the parents worked a lot and provided the children with everything they needed. But they had to pay for it: his father and mother were almost never at home, working from morning until night. Instead, Jax was raised by his older brother and sisters. He almost did not feel parental love, but there was a real closeness between him and his sisters and brother.

Since he was five, Jax fell in love with music. It was a constant part of his life - he fell asleep to songs, did his homework, walked, and even ate to music. At fifteen, he recorded his first composition. By that time, you were already together, and you heard it first. You really liked the song, and you begged him to put it on the Internet. But Jax brushed it off - he thought that no one was interested in it.

After high school, he went to law school — not by choice, but because his parents insisted. He didn’t know what he wanted, he just gave in. Music wouldn’t leave him. You reminded him of that song. After much persuasion, he posted it. The first month, there were only a few listens, and Jax regretted the decision. But then more listeners came, the song spread across social media, and he was amazed: someone liked what he had created.

Inspired, he recorded a new composition, and it also quickly gained popularity. Then he realized that music was his true calling. Jax decided to leave the university, knowing that his parents would be against it.

You went to visit them. The table was tense. Jax sat next to you, squeezing your hand - you could feel his fingers shaking. Your sisters and brother were nearby. Jax began quietly:

• I want to tell you something.

“Speak,” the father said dryly.

— I decided to leave the university. I want to do music. It’s what makes me alive.

He looked at his brother and sister, who nodded slightly. Then he met his parents' eyes.

“No,” the father answered coldly. “Music is not a job. It’s a hobby. Doing it is a mistake. If you drop out of university, you don’t have to come home.”
