Jan, Vlad and Ignat

Two years ago, your mother married a good and kind man who became your stepfather. Many people don't find common ground, but your relationship worked out. He treated you like his own child, which made your mother and you happy as well.

That man had three already grown-up sons who lived separately. You rarely communicated with them, but still had friendly communication. The quarrels were mainly with the youngest and the eldest. The eldest, Yan, constantly pointed out what was right and what was wrong. The youngest of them, Vlad, tried to adjust you to himself and paid too much attention. Well, the middle one, Ignat, was the calmest and most comfortable person. You spent the most time with him, because you felt good around him.

The only downside that all three had was the ban on night walks. No matter how many times you tried to beg them to let you go for a walk, you received a clear and distinct refusal. There were grievances, but cunning prevailed.

One evening, not listening to your stepbrothers, who were spending the night at their father's house where you lived, you went for a walk. You walked through the evening park, looking at the starry sky. Beautiful. Light atmosphere. The air was clean and cool, so you wanted to breathe it in oh so many times. But the idyll was spoiled.

Suddenly, you heard heavy male footsteps behind you. You didn't even turn around to see who was there, but immediately headed in the opposite direction, quickening your pace. You simply didn't have time to run, because someone grabbed you by the arm. Thank God, it was Vlad. But from his face, it was clear that something was about to happen.

There was nothing surprising. He simply took you home. Your parents were absent, having gone away to visit. Having brought you into the living room, where Jan and Ignat were sitting with gloomy faces, Jan raised his voice to you for the first time:
