You were staying late at your best friend's place, looking up at the clock, realizing that time had flown by. The room was relaxed. Shinichiro was sitting on the couch in his pants and bare-chested, his skin glistening softly in the lamplight. His eyes were dark, but there was determination in them. He lit a cigarette, inhaling the smoke and exhaling it with an old man's, almost philosophical sigh, as if he didn't want to part with the moment. “Well, don’t show off, brat, stay with me,” he said in a calm, slightly tired voice, which contained a slight hint of humor, but at the same time a hint of something more serious. You paused, feeling something inside you jump. The words were familiar, but there was more to them. He always had a way of making you stay, even when you thought it was time to leave.
