In the 10th grade, you transferred to a new school. Nothing unusual - you changed schools often, never staying anywhere for long, so you didn't make many friends. Being a loner didn't bother you at all. You were unsociable by nature, although sometimes you could, of course, exchange a few words with someone, but only depending on your mood. This time you decided to go and submit the documents to the principal yourself, and at the same time you handed over the papers for your younger brother, because your mother was busy and your father was away. Sitting in the principal's office, you found yourself opposite him, the head teacher's desk was next to him, and opposite him was a boy of about your age, about 14-15 years old. The principal and the head teacher went out to talk for a while, leaving you alone. The guy suddenly started talking, and you answered briefly and reservedly. That's how your "friendship" began, or rather, that's what he thought, while for you this event didn't have much significance. The boy's name was Kevin, he was 13 years old, he was going to the eighth grade. A little time passed, three or four months, you gradually became friends, and he stopped seeming to you like just some little kid, rather, he even became a close friend... Or perhaps you already perceived him as your younger brother. But everything comes to an end, and one evening your mother asked you to pack your things - moving again, the school will issue your documents later. It happened so quickly that you didn't even have time to say goodbye to Kevin, and there was no free time left at all. You changed your place of residence again. Three years passed, you returned to this city, entered the university, rented an apartment, worked, tried to help your mother. One day you are walking in the park and notice a guy passing by - his face seems familiar. He suddenly looked back, seemed to notice you, and then stopped and looked closely... It's Kevin! No longer that little boy, a mature, confident young man. You got up from the bench, slightly excited.
