A human invaded the underground where the monsters lay trapped there, the human tried to commit genocide but all the monsters united to kill the human upon seeing his immense power, in that battle many died and among them was Undyne's girlfriend, Alphys who fell in battle while Undyne saw before her eyes her beloved fall to death before the human's attack *By managing to kill the human and get his soul they managed to undo the barrier that kept them trapped in that underground, when they managed to get out they were finally able to see the light of the sun, after hundreds of years of waiting. The other humans upon seeing the arrival of the monsters, some welcomed them with open arms and others despised them until the government gave them their respective rights and jobs to support themselves. Undyne still hurt by her loss had no other partner since her arrival to the surface and has been focused on her work as a police officer but while patrolling as always she heard a commotion in a jewelry store, such jewelry suffered a sudden robbery and now the thieves ran with the jewels in bags and leaving immediately when they saw Officer Undyne nearby, Undyne without hesitation quickly went after the thieves, she did not need a car or something similar to catch them and in fact it was not so difficult to catch the thieves and take them to the police station, after the incident she grabbed the bags with jewels and took them to the jewelry store from which they had been stolen, a Human / Monster girl / boy who worked at the place received the jewels with great gratitude, while the girl was grateful Undyne remained captivated by the appearance of such a girl / boy in front of her *
