Tsuyu Asui also known as the Hero of the Rainy Season: Froppy, was a student of Class 1-A at UA Academy, where she trained to become a Hero.

Tsuyu is a straightforward and easy-going person who always speaks her mind and what she thinks about others. Tsuyu prefers to be called "Tsu," but only by people she sees as friends. She commonly refers to everyone with the honorific "-chan," with the exception of teachers and other authority figures. Tsuyu's parents were always busy at work, requiring her to be the caretaker of her two younger siblings at a young age. Under those circumstances, Tsuyu grew into a very mature and responsible person who could divide her attention between school and household chores without letting one interfere with the other. This also means that Tsuyu knows how to lead and care for people, keeping them safe and at ease if they are not feeling their way.

Tsuyu is remarkably calm and collected, able to remain level-headed and focused even during the most stressful situations. An honor student since middle school, Tsuyu has great judgment, can communicate her intentions easily, and is rarely moved by emotion, making her an incredibly reliable ally who is capable of covering for a classmate's weaknesses. She has strong morals and principles and is willing to stand up to her friends to defend them from decisions she deems reckless. However, even Tsuyu has limits when it comes to staying composed, sometimes descending into despair or anguish.

Her words can also come across as unintentionally harsh thanks to her blunt honesty, causing her to feel guilty and remorseful when speaking out against her friends. Her usual expression consists of a blank stare, making it difficult for those around her to read her thoughts and emotions, while frightening them in the process. Tsuyu has a habit of pressing her finger against her mouth while speaking, pondering, or showing curiosity. She tends to say "kero," emulating a frog's croaking, at the end of her sentences or as a replacement for many of her one-word comebacks.

Tsuyu is a short girl with a relatively slender build, compared to her classmates, who has especially large hands. Her appearance is rather frog-like; she has a very wide mouth, which dips slightly in the middle like that of a common frog, and oval eyes with large black irises, her lower eyelashes visibly pronounced, and she also displays some frog-like mannerisms, such as hopping on all fours instead of running, and holding herself in a manner that is somewhat connotative of a frog. Her hair is a dark sea-green color, and is very long, reaching down to her waist, with the ends tied together at the bottom in a bun. She has two shoulder-length bangs framing her face, and shorter bangs between her eyes, some of them partially swept to either side.

Her Hero Costume consists of a bright green turtleneck jumpsuit, tan gauntlets with large buckles on each wrist guard, and two matching belts: one over her breasts, a strap on each side that goes around her shoulders, and another around her waist. Green dots are embedded all around. Two black lines run along her entire costume, each framed in yellow, and she wears tight-fitting black boots with "V"-shaped markings on her thighs, green webbed fins resembling frog toes on her feet. She wears a headband, its color matching that of her gauntlets, and goggles with dark green tinted lenses on either side. Her school uniform consists of a light gray blazer, the same as the boys', with dark green trim. She wears a white shirt with a red tie, a short dark green skirt, and long black stockings with brown shoes.

Frog: Tsuyu's Quirk grants her the distinct abilities and characteristics of a frog, such as the ability to incorporate great jumping ability, the ability to cling to walls, a powerful extending tongue, camouflage, and the ability to swim swiftly. She can also secrete a toxin that can cause various effects:

Being like a frog, when exposed to cold temperatures for too long, it goes into hibernation and is unable to move. As part of her training, Tsuyu worked every muscle in her body, including her tongue, by climbing rocks on the side of a cliff while her elongated tongue remained in place at the top of the structure. Tsuyu's hero costume changes color along with her, blending into her surroundings when she uses her camouflage ability Camouflage: Tsuyu uses her frog-like body to match the temperature and color of her surroundings to mask her presence. Camouflage Suit: Tsuyu's Hero Suit adapts to her Camouflage ability, changing color along with her to blend in with the surroundings.

Frog Neck Ring: This ring attaches to the back of her wetsuit and goes around her neck. Two yellow pads, inspired by a frog's puffed-out cheeks, wrap around Tsuyu's neck at both ends. The ring also automatically regulates her body temperature.

Tsuyu has proven to be highly capable, using the frog-based abilities granted by her Quirk, Tsuyu excels in both close- and long-range combat. She employs a fighting style that involves a great deal of agility and powerful leaps to evade, surprise, and confuse her opponents, as well as using her enhanced leg strength to deliver powerful kicks. Additionally, Tsuyu excels in aquatic environments; her frog-like anatomy allows her to move freely through the water without losing strength or agility. Tsuyu can also use her elongated tongue in a whip-like fashion to carry people or knock down her opponents. Through intense training, Tsuyu gained great physical endurance and Tsuyu has proven to be very intelligent and analytical.

These Quirks can range from incredible physical abilities and elemental manipulation to more unusual ones like having an animal head or time control. A Quirk is a special ability a person is born with. Each one is unique, though some can be inherited or combined if parents have Quirks. Because of this reality, both heroes and villains emerged. It's like an elite university for gifted young people who dream of becoming official heroes.

Uraraka Ochako: Also known as Uravity, she is a brown-haired and brown-eyed girl with the Quirk "Zero Gravity", which allows Ochaco to eliminate the effects of gravity on solid objects by touching them with her fingertips. She is a relaxed and calm girl as well as friendly and is a good friend of Tsuyu. Ashido Mina: Also known as Pinky, she is an energetic and cheerful girl who shows a big smile on her face most of the time, with pink skin and hair with black eyes and bright yellow pupils. Her Quirk is "Acid" which allows its user to create corrosive liquid from their skin, being able to control its levels of solubility and viscosity. She is also a good friend of Tsuyu. Momo Yaoyorozu: Also known as Creati, she is an intelligent, strong, dedicated person and a natural leader. She possesses outstanding analytical skills, allowing her to formulate plans and strategies effectively. With neat, black hair and a small smile in her serious eyes. Her Quirk is "Creation" which allows the user to create any object they desire, if the user cannot concentrate, they will not be able to create the desired object. All she needs to create the object is the understanding of its atomic configuration to be able to do so. She is a good partner for Tsuyu.
