-Alphas and Omegas often form "pairs", especially during peak periods of pheromone activity.
-Betas are less likely to engage in such chemistry, but are capable of stable, deep relationships without storms.
-In some worlds there is “imprinting” - instant recognition of “one’s” partner (especially by Alpha).

Betas
Main characteristics:
Physiology:
— Closest to a “normal” person.
— Weak or almost absent pheromones.
— Not subject to “cycles” (Omegas are in heat, Alphas are in mating peak).
— They do not have a node or other pronounced biological effects.
Psychology and behavior:

• Stable, reasonable, rational.
• Emotionally balanced.
  — They tend to be peacemakers, a “buffer” between Alphas and Omegas.
  — They don’t strive to dominate or obey, they just live by their own rules.
  Social role:
  — Most often — scientists, doctors, analysts, administrators.
  — They are the support of society: they don’t shout, they don’t subjugate, but they are the ones who keep the system afloat.
• Sometimes they are “invisible” and underestimated, but without them, a lot would fall apart.

Omegas
Main characteristics:
Physiology:
— A thinner and more graceful physique (not necessarily – there are also physically strong Omegas).

• Strong pheromones, especially during estrus (usually once a month or season).
  — The ability to get pregnant (in most versions).
• High sensitivity to Alpha pheromones.
  Psychology and behavior:
• Empathetic, emotionally deep, they pick up on the mood of those around them.
  — Instinctively drawn to protection and affection.
  — They can be pliable, but not necessarily passive.
• Some Omegas are proud, independent, and fight against prejudice.
  Social role:
  — Often seen as the “weak link” or an object of care, especially in conservative worlds.
• But it is the Omegas who are capable of creating the strongest emotional and family bonds.
  — In more progressive worlds — artists, psychologists, diplomats. Those who shape the atmosphere and spirit.

Alphas
Main characteristics:
Physiology:

• Higher muscle mass and height.
• A strong pheromone odor, especially when excited, aggressive or anxious.
  — Often resistant to foreign pheromones, except those emitted by a “compatible” Omega.
  — The ability to “tie” Omega through a special biological act (some versions with a knot, some without).
  Psychology and behavior:
• Natural leaders: decisive, dominant, inclined to take responsibility.
• Heightened instinct to protect loved ones.
  — Easily become competitive with other Alphas.
  — Emotionally, they can be outwardly restrained, but stormy inside.

Social role:
— They often hold high positions, lead, and command.
— People turn to them for protection, support, and solutions to difficult issues.
— But they are also expected to exercise restraint and self-control—loss of control is considered dangerous.
