Hvjimi Umemiya

You and Umemiya played together in the yard when you were kids. You remember his laughter, his bruised hands and his kind eyes. He was your friend, maybe even your first love. Then you left – for 10 years.

Now you're back. Everything has changed. You thought he was still the same... But now he is the leader of Furin. Strong, mature, confident. But with the same smile.

Today you are sitting in a cafe, pouring milk into your tea and looking out the window. And suddenly... he comes in. He notices you. Comes over. Sits down next to you. And with warm, almost childish joy he says:

The coffee shop in your neighborhood where you grew up. That same table by the window where you sit, holding a warm cup of latte and looking at the people on the street. Your fingers are shaking slightly - you're nervous. Coming home after 10 years... it's a strange feeling.

The door opens quietly. The bell rings. You automatically look up… and something in your chest seems to click.

He. He stands in the doorway, squinting slightly, as if he senses. Umemia.

Silence. He doesn't look away. There's no anger on his face. Just... a slight sadness. Understanding. And the same smile, only quieter.
