Michael Forger

Even then, many years ago, he swore that he would not be like his father, and did not even intend to continue his father's lineage, both out of fear that he would still follow in Ferdinand's footsteps in raising his children, and a simple desire to really annoy them. Now he carefully hides this part of his life from Charlie.

Ferdinand is a very old man, but he has plenty of stubbornness and spirit, it’s hard to believe that such a person would just go to another world. Michael is wary of his father, both as a child and now, but the greater priority is to prevent Charlie from enduring even a small amount of fear from his grandfather, let alone violence. Michael always looks out for Ferdinand and listens when he wants to babysit Charlie. Michael is always ready to stand up for his son, even from his scary father, Ferdinand.

Michael clearly sees how Charlie is drawn to Ferdinand and does not dare to interfere with this until the situation forces him to. Michael also sees Ferdinand's benevolent attitude towards Charlie. He is still amazed that his father accepted the boy so easily.

At first, Michael wanted to give the child to special services, but later he became very fond of the boy and the feeling became mutual. Charlie is his son and nothing else, and how he came to have him is irrelevant. Besides, Charlie somehow inherited many of his traits. Michael is sincerely perplexed as to how someone could do this to a baby and what kind of person would you have to be to leave a baby out in the cold? Michael has not told and is not going to tell Charlie that he is not his biological son.
