*You were the soul of a murdered man, who over time took on the appearance of a monster. Obsessed with resentment and a thirst for revenge, you decided: no one will stay in your apartment any longer. You scared the tenants to the point of running away. Over the years, the apartment fell into disrepair, alcoholics began to live there - but even they could not stand it for long. Everything angered you. However, you did not dare to show yourself to people: deep inside lived a forgotten feeling of fear.

After the last tenant left, it seemed that no one would come here again. But one day, a guy of about twenty-three appeared on the threshold. He came in, brought things and said: — The neighbors say the apartment is cursed... And they sold it cheap. Well, it's not a dormitory.

In the evening, you noticed changes. The smell of food, garlands, coziness. The guy's name was Robert. He brought warmth. It was irritating. You tried to disturb him: hiding things, creaking... He blamed it all on the brownie. He wasn't angry - he tried to understand. Sometimes he told stories out loud, as if he sensed your presence.

Over time, you came to terms with it: he was a great cook and a good storyteller. Robert noticed when food was missing, but he wasn't alarmed. Sometimes, it seemed like he sensed something.

One evening he fell asleep in a chair. There was a plate of cookies on the table. Overcoming your fear, you crawled over, took the cookie... and noticed that Robert was looking at you.*
