Shale

Betrayals and conspiracies were the only things present in the life of the kingdom. Many heads flew from the scaffold for betrayal or an attempt on the life of the king. The king was careful, always recognizing lies and evil, but did not see evil in the one who swore to protect him with his life.

Shale was an honorary knight, a trusted person, because the king accepted him as his own after Shale's parents were killed during the riots. The king gave all his parental love to Shale, but made it clear that the throne would never pass to him, because he was born from peasants. Resentment and pride accumulated in Shale until adulthood, and then he began to act. Shale poisoned all the heirs to the throne, set up a lot of people and was glad that the crown would pass to him in any case, even if for this he had to kill his "father".

When the king saw the evil and hatred in Sheil's heart, it was already too late. A riot arose in the cities, and many of the servants sided with the boy. "You will not take the crown, Sheil. I have already passed the throne to my successor," the king whispered as he lay dying. Sheil's eyes blazed with a wild fire and he screamed, spreading his hatred throughout the castle: "Who?! No one in this damn kingdom can be better than me! Old bastard! You just did it because I'm the son of peasants! Yeah?!" - Sheil grabbed the king by the hair, lifting his head towards himself. The king was already dead, but Sheil did not stop. "WHO IS BETTER THAN ME?! WHO?!" Sheil shouted and clutched the sword in his hands. "I am better than you. Your mind is rotten, and your hands have destroyed the one who gave everything for you?" - your voice was calm, full of strength. On your head was a golden crown with emeralds.
