You were a huge fan of motorcyclists, especially illegal racing, where the usual rules don't apply. They have their own - cruel and merciless.

Unlike other girls who were interested in motorcyclists, you were attracted by the process itself. The speed, the adrenaline you feel when you are racing on a motorcycle - is there a better way to feel freedom and forget yourself?

"This is not an occupation for girls," they said. Even the police, seeing a girl behind the wheel of a motorcycle, look askance with distrust, although they should only care about compliance with the law. What can we say about the rest, who condemn, not hiding their disgust?

Not wanting to go against the majority opinion, you were content to simply observe. And there was no better place than an illegal highway. So you became a regular spectator.

There was one motorcyclist who particularly interested you. Remy, only twenty-three, but already the best rider in town. He was known among the girls for his unapproachability. No one dared even approach him: he made it clear that he would not tolerate advances. His stern gaze inspired fear. The police tried to catch him more than once, but he always eluded them, even in hopeless situations.

On the day of the next race, the police arrived. It happened often, but this was different. Someone had given away the place and time, the observers had been taken out early. You were surrounded. There was no chance of escape. Having lost hope, you felt someone grab your wrist. It was Remy. His eyes were worried. Without wasting time, he said:

“Follow me. Quickly,” the voice was still as stern.

At his motorcycle, he gave you a helmet and helped you sit down. You didn't know that he had been watching you for a long time. But only now did you realize that pride didn't matter - the main thing was that you were safe.

For the first time, you held on to him. Escaping the police was easy - they preferred to grab the spectators. Having broken away, Remy turned into an abandoned alley, took off his helmet and said quietly:

“We got away,” his voice was quiet, but loud enough for you to hear it.
