His masterpiece and what stood behind it

In his project proposed by Dori, Kaveh, having gone bankrupt, fell into depression. He was convinced that no matter how much he did to achieve his ideals, it was never enough. He had no reference points left, and he was stuck in a world where you can’t take a step without pestilence. vk.com Kaveh had been used to maintaining his dignity since his youth and did not want to tell his colleagues and friends that he was left with almost no mora in his pocket and had to sell all his belongings. He went to a tavern, where he ordered several bottles and indulged in chatter to console himself.

Family

Kaveh was born into a classical family of scholars. His father graduated from Rtavahist and worked at the Academy, his mother had once studied in Kshahrevar and was a famous architect in Sumeru, as was Kaveh himself later. Under the influence of his parents, Kaveh was interested in architecture and construction from an early age. The three of them would often sit in the living room, Kaveh would play with blocks, and his parents would relax. They could talk even without words and always remained a real family. That was when Kaveh learned what family and home were. The happy times soon ended. Shortly before Kaveh entered the Academy, his father, having succumbed to his persuasion, decided to take part in the Darshan Tournament. The tasks were not too difficult, and his father was considered the main contender for victory, but he still took second place, albeit with a small lead over the winner. And after the Tournament, his father disappeared, and soon terrible news came home: Kaveh's father had died in the desert. It was like a bolt from the blue. Kaveh's mother suffered especially much, she had always been a sensitive person, and her husband's departure completely broke her, she spent days and weeks in anxiety and melancholy. And every night in Kaveh's dreams he saw his father smiling at him and promising that he would return home with gifts. Kaveh understood that his father would not have participated in the Darshan Tournament if he had not given in to his persuasion. And he would not have disappeared after the Tournament, and he would not have died in the desert. But all the prayers were in vain: the past cannot be changed. The death of his father, the grief of his mother... All this happened because of words that he could no longer take back. From that day on, he would always live in the shadow of his guilt. His mother said that his father was a man with a kind heart and that life next to him was real happiness. After his father's death, she never smiled again. Their once warm and bright house turned into a cluster of cold, deserted rooms. Kaveh often saw his mother sitting on the sofa, silently looking at her trembling hands. She could no longer draw anything, even her thoughts were confused.

Friends

Al-Haytham: Long-time friends who often argue but always support each other. Dehya: Close friends who respect each other for their strong character. Hayatham: A colleague of Kaveh's with whom he sometimes has disagreements at work. Kaya: A friend of Kaveh who was closer to Al-Haytham and acted as a "bridge" between them, helping them understand each other. Tignari is a friend of Kaveh. The characters have a warm relationship and mutual respect.

About Al-Haytham

You will never meet another person who can get on the nerves of his interlocutor like that! And I am ready to say it to his face. You know, he is very smart, they say that smart people are often unbearable, but even if this is true, he is a special case... He knows very well how to behave so as not to push people away, he just doesn’t want to. If you thought he had a great character, or if you got the impression that al-Haytham is an impassive automaton, then you don’t know him well enough yet. He is a man with a unique personality that few can understand. About al-Haytham: It's complicated Item Friendship Experience Friendship Level 4 Al-Haytham helped me a lot, and if we were as close as we were in our student days, I would thank him tirelessly every day. But now... I can't squeeze out a word of gratitude, I don't want to give him such joy. Perhaps we have a complicated relationship. There is good in it, and there is bad. Sometimes it all seems to me like a cruel joke of fate... which you can't see right away. But I certainly admit that al-Haytham is a unique person. If only he could do something about his character. Okay, I'm daydreaming.

About art

When working on a project, I never put aesthetics first, that would be wrong. Quality and safety always come first. And yet I try not to forget about beauty, that is what distinguishes me from other architects.

Quotes and interesting things

Laymen believe that architects from Kshahrevar understand only the types of clay and wood. This opinion is so unfounded that I do not even want to argue with it. If the construction of houses were limited to the arrangement of different materials, architecture as a field of knowledge would lose all meaning. Architecture is a part of human culture and an art form. And art does not exist without people, so in my work I always consider how the owners will feel in the house, how it will look from the outside. Yes, I try to achieve artistic expressiveness, not forgetting about practicality and functionality.

About Faruzan

Professor Faruzan is straightforward, and I understand why many of the Academy's students are afraid of her. But she doesn't wish anyone harm, Professor Faruzan's main passion is research. It is said that scientists from Haravatat are difficult to deal with. Well, um... Ha-ha... I suppose she has already offered you to become her student? Yes, sometimes Professor Faruzan resembles a crazy salesman. But she knows her business, you can't take that away from her.

About the Nile

Nilu is a real star, and Zubair is very lucky to have such a talent in his troupe. They say she also has a wonderful character, Nilu always smiles when she dances, and tries to say something nice to each spectator. I will have to make time and watch her performance.

About the track

I see Collei often. She is Tignari's student and assistant, and accompanies him everywhere. Collei is a very diligent, patient, and responsible girl, especially compared to her peers. But... I feel some kind of burden on her soul.

About saino

Saino may seem cold and emotionless, but he is actually a very warm person. I still remember how surprised I was when Tignari said he wanted to introduce me to his best friend, and then a menacing matra walked into the room... Honestly, I didn't expect matras to be so good at communicating with scientists. Although, I must say, I can't stand his sense of humor. His jokes give me goosebumps. If he ever invites you to dinner at Tignari's, make sure there is beer, because Saino's jokes are simply unbearable when sober.

About tignari

Tignari... You can see what a wonderful guy he is at the first meeting. He is a kind and very erudite man, but he never boasts about his knowledge. And Tignari truly loves his work. I remember asking him for advice on what plants to plant in the Alcazar-sarai garden. He answered my letter and then helped me with other questions more than once. Oh, and he introduced me to Saino.

About my masterpiece

Have you seen the Alcazar-Saray yet? It is the main project of my life. I have sacrificed so much for it... Many have decided that I have gone crazy. You are not me, you are not architects... Of course, you would not understand. Eh... But sometimes I so wish that someone would understand me.

About my profession

In everything that concerns professional knowledge, I am a proud person. Probably, such pride is inherent in any scientist, because our whole life is built around the profession. Without this pride, I would lose the right to demand anything from myself and from others.
