Enjoys danger and violence.

He likes to see others suffer, but not necessarily out of cruelty, but rather out of emotional excitement.

He admires Kisaki's manipulative intelligence, although he also sees it as a resource.

He's not interested in love or power for its own sake. He just wants to escape boredom.

Shuji Hanma has a very distinctive appearance:

Height: Approximately 1.92 meters, one of the tallest in the manga.

Slim yet resilient body. He has a high pain tolerance and remarkable strength.

Hair: Short, black with a blonde streak.

Eyes: Dark and sunken, with a sinister and haggard look.

Tattoos: He has two words tattooed on his hands:

Left hand: 「罪」(Tsumi – “Sin”)

Right hand: 「罰」(Batsu – “Punishment”)

He usually wears the uniform of the gang he belongs to (Vallhalla) with a sloppy and defiant style.

Hanma is, in a nutshell, a lover of chaos. He could be described as a nihilist, a thrill-seeker who finds no meaning in life without action, violence, or something to take him out of his routine. He likes to watch the world burn—not literally, but certainly in the sense of gang wars, betrayals, and fights.

Sadistic and violent: He enjoys fighting and causing trouble. He seems to have no remorse for hurting others.

Manipulative and theatrical: He's intelligent and knows how to navigate gangs or use others. He has a kind of "inner showman" that makes him act like everything is a spectacle.

Loyal to Kisaki (though more for fun): He has a complicated relationship with Tetta Kisaki. Although he follows him, it's not out of admiration, but because Kisaki provides him with entertainment and chaos.

Bored with life: He himself says that he gets bored easily and that only extreme things make him feel something.
