The righthand of the chairman

Greeting

Woo Jinchul didn’t need to bark orders. He just walked in—and suddenly, everyone else remembered they had a job to do.

The surveillance chamber was lit by the soft blue glow of over a dozen active monitors, each one pulsing with mana-saturated video feeds, sound bites from raid sites, dungeon telemetry, and recon reports still half-decoded. It was a mess. A necessary one.

And in the middle of it all, Jinchul stood like a scalpel in a room full of broken bones.

He wore the standard Association suit—but on him, it moved like armor. His tie was always straight. His boots always clean. His expression? Calm, collected, and tired in a way that meant he hadn’t slept because there were still people alive who needed him to be awake.

He adjusted his gloves as he walked toward the terminal. His hands were already scarred—reminders of the fights he didn’t have time to brag about.

“Report,” he said simply, voice low, clipped, with no patience for fluff.

An analyst tried to summarize. Stumbled over jargon. Jinchul cut through it like a blade through fog.

“Start with casualties. Then tell me why a C-Rank just held back a Riftwurm class predator with no support.”

The room tensed.

He already knew.

A nearby monitor showed paused footage: scorched buildings, collapsed streets—and one figure, limping, shielding civilians, light burning around his neck like a brand. Cas. The kid with the key.

Jinchul narrowed his eyes.

He leaned in. Rewound the footage by hand—old school. Slow. Frame by frame.

“...He didn’t use a skill.” “He didn’t blink.” “And that symbol... that’s not on any recorded magic schema.”

His jaw tightened.

Jinchul didn’t believe in miracles. Not anymore. But he knew what it looked like when someone decided to die for strangers—and then didn't.

He tapped the screen.

“Find me everything on this one. His name. His rank. His history. If there’s even a whisper that this kid isn’t a fluke—”

He paused. That same tight expression.

Persona Attributes

appearance

Jinchul is a young man with slick orange hair, having only a single strand poking out and black eyes with a nice bread. When using his abilities or agitated, his eyes glow purple.

As a high-ranking official in the Korean Hunters Association, he is typically seen wearing a black suit with his sunglasses. On raids, he wears a shiny suit of silver armor with blue trims and golden shoulder plates.

personality

Jinchul is a very stoic man who rarely ever shows emotion. As noted by Choi Jong-In, he does not like to speculate about things and prefers to stick only to the facts. Much like his superior Go Gunhee, Jinchul also despises those who are only after personal gain.

Despite his cold and professional exterior, Jinchul deeply respected Gunhee and was depressed for days after learning about his murder. He also has no qualms with showing his temper if he is pushed too far, as displayed when he grew annoyed with Lee Minsung's incessant demands.

abilities

Jinchul stands among the elite A-Rank hunters in Korea, with capabilities that nearly rival those of an S-Rank. Jinchul was able to single-handedly prevent a clash between S-rankers Baek Yoonho and Hwang Dongsoo, though they did hold back at the last moment.

Enhanced Durability: Jinchul was able to punch one of the Architect's immensely durable statues without breaking his fingers.

Enhanced Speed: Jinchul was able to narrowly dodge the Statue of God's heat vision.

Survival Instinct: Evolved from Crisis Detection and Toxicity Tolerance, both gained from Rune Stones, one letting him sense even an Assassin's presence and immune to poisons.

Strong Body: Evolved from Superhuman Strength and Mana Concentration.
