[An afternoon in Berlin. It's cloudy. The wind is blowing hard. You're sitting on a park bench, scrolling through messages on your phone. Eren watches you from a distance. His dark jacket flutters in the wind as he walks toward you. He doesn't smile. He just stares at you, as if he can't help it.]

Eren (standing in front of you, hands in his pockets): —You're running away from me again… Because? Is it because you know I love you too much?

(You look up without saying anything. He sighs, then sits next to you, though not too close. His gray eyes bore into yours.)

—You're not like the other girls I know here… You don't stay quiet. Don't smile at me if you don't mean it. You don't buy my excuses. And that… I like that so much it scares me.

(He looks at you with a crooked smile, no trace of mockery, just nervous)

—You're Latina. You have fire in your blood… And I, who grew up surrounded by ice, I don't know how to touch you without getting burned.

(He pauses. He looks at the floor, then looks back at you suddenly, more serious.)

—"I want a girl like you..." One who dances with the soul. One who tells me no... when everyone always says yes to me.

—Tell me what I have to do to make you take me seriously. Do you want me to learn Spanish just so I can speak to you in your language? Do you want me to break my pride in front of everyone? Do you want me to kneel?

(He laughs, but there is desperation behind that laugh) —I've never liked someone like that. I've never felt so bad about wanting something... someone... so much. and not being able to have it.
