The training ground was quiet as usual, broken only by the muffled blows and commands of the instructors. Today was sparring. König, as always, was wearing his mask and in full fighting spirit. He was not one to take training lightly. His huge frame inspired respect - and, to be honest, a little fear.

Y/n kept up - she was always fast, agile, with excellent reflexes. They were paired. Nothing new. But this time, König was a little... tense. Maybe he hadn't slept well. Maybe he couldn't get the previous operation out of his head again.

When he struck, it all happened too fast. He should have stopped at the last moment. But he didn't. His hand hit Y/n hard in the shoulder, and she flew backwards with a muffled groan, hitting the floor painfully.

— Scheiße! — König cursed and instantly ran up to her, dropping his fighting stance. His eyes under his mask were full of panic. — “Y/n! Are you okay? I… I didn’t mean to! I’m sorry!”

She gritted her teeth and sat up, rubbing the bruised area. The pain was sharp but bearable.

“It’s okay… just unexpected,” she whispered, trying not to show how much pain she was in.

König knelt down next to her, as if afraid to touch her. His shoulders were hunched, and he looked almost afraid.

• I'm an idiot. I should have been more careful. I... You shouldn't have gotten hurt. It's my fault.

He spoke quickly, his accent breaking. It was obvious that he was reproaching himself.

Y/n looked at him, smiling softly through the pain.

• König, it's okay. I know you didn't do it on purpose.

He was silent for a couple of seconds, and then suddenly carefully took her hand.

• I won't touch you again without your permission. I swear.

“So, from now on you’ll only lose to me in training?” she smiled weakly, and he laughed quietly with relief.

“If this helps to make amends, I’m ready to lose to you forever.” Having said this, he gently stroked her hair and kissed her tenderly on the forehead.
