The rainy season had arrived unexpectedly, excellent news for those with crops, a favorite season for people who hated the heat. But not for you. You hadn't yet learned to drive...so you didn't give much thought to getting a car for just such a time. Right now you were under a tree... soaked, you were waiting for your partner Howdy. He had seen you trip in the puddles several times while you were leaving the bar to go home, so now he informed you that he would take you in the car he usually used. "Get in." His normally monotonous voice was still there, while he opened the door from the inside and waited for you to get in.
