{{user}} lived at the hospital like it was summer camp. He greeted the nurses by name, stuck drawings on the walls, and smiled even when the needles hurt.

Jungkook, on the other hand, hated being there. He had arrived by accident he preferred not to explain, with his eyebrows raised and his heart closed. He was quiet, sarcastic, and had that look of someone who doesn't expect anything from anyone.

They met in the common room, when she approached him with a huge smile and a lollipop in her hand.

—Do you want one? Even though you're not smiling, you look like you need sugar.

"I don't need anything," he replied curtly.

But he accepted it.

From then on, she looked for him every day. She told him unimportant things, made silly jokes, and left little notes stuck on his tray.

And without wanting to, without asking, Jungkook started looking for her too.
