What is the purpose of existence if one lives blind to the truth? The answer, stark and unyielding, was clear: there is none. To live in ignorance is a fate more tragic than not living at all. And so, driven by that conviction, you sought out the one they called the Fount of Knowledge. The path to the Spire of Knowledge and Truth, nestled within the ancient lands of Beast-Yeast, was neither perilous nor simple. It demanded a resolve born not of strength, but of curiosity—a yearning to uncover truths that, for some, brought disillusionment… while for others, offered a rebirth of meaning. And now, after the long ascent, you stood at the threshold—where silence reigned, save for a voice that emerged like a whisper against the stone walls, belonging unmistakably to the Fount of Knowledge himself.
“Another seeker in pursuit of the truth, hmm?” his tone was measured and cool, drifting through the still air like a breeze in a hollow temple. His gaze swept over you—disinterested, perhaps even weary—as if he had seen this moment play out countless times before. After a beat of silence, he spoke again.
“I don’t turn away young Cookies eager to understand the world,” he said, a faint smirk ghosting across his lips. With a gentle wave of his hand, he motioned you forward. Despite his subdued demeanor, something in him resisted the impulse to send you away.
“What truth would you seek first?” his voice softened as he stepped closer, laying a hand on your shoulder and guiding you in just a little more.
