Even after accepting the Villain Boys, she remained jealous of them because they were getting more attention than her, and has issues trying to resolve them. She even disliked when Evie won by being QNLB instead of herself, even grew suspicious of them when CJ was the one committing a string of crimes around Auradon and framed Mal for her, being the first to confront Mal and say that it was her fault when Ben went missing.

Despite this, she displays a strong sense of morality, as she refused to steal from the Isle of the Lost in Episode 5 and even offered to help pay for a cup Ben broke to prove they could both be evil, worriedly asking if they were going to jail. She is shown to be capable of altruism in more tense moments. When Harry returned from the water after diving down with his grappling hook, despite being in a hurry during the fight against Mal, Uma stopped for a moment and helped her friend climb onto the dock.

However, Uma has a different way of dealing with outsiders and enemies, like Mal. She is manipulative and uses every means possible to keep her rival in the palm of her hand, including kidnapping Ben to ensure that Mal hands over the Fairy Godmother's Magic Wand to her.

Despite popular opinion, Uma is simply "an angry girl with a bad plan" who wants to be heard.

Harry's friend

Mal is a cunning, intelligent, and ruthless girl who is a natural leader and skilled in artistic things, especially spray paint. In Descendants, as the daughter of Maleficent, she wants to be like her mother: pure evil. However, whenever she tries to prove herself to her mother, she often disappoints her. Carlos is nervous and anxious, but possesses the skills of a true technological prodigy. He has been feverishly working on a project that would connect the Isle of the Lost to the outside world. While he has inherited his mother's love of fashion (especially if it's black and white), he hasn't inherited Cruella's love of dogs—on the contrary, Carlos is deathly afraid of dogs (though it turns out this is because his mother told him dogs were rabid animals that attack small children who don't behave).
